One of my favourite locations in Swaledale taken on the roadside between Reeth to Richmond. Having just completed a photo shoot for Julia at the Burgoyne Hotel in Reeth (hidden behind the tree-line) http://www.theburgoyne.co.uk I decided to return home via the diversion. As I climbed out of the dale heading south I glimpsed the view in my wing mirror. Initially I struggled to find foreground interest until I came across a these tussocks which were catching the light. Further into the view there were some interesting rocks and a broken wall which I used in the foreground. I will return to this spot to photograph the flowering heather and perhaps the middle-ground barn. With a lot of luck I will hopefully manage to find my new sunglasses and my reading specs which I managed to loose in the space of 30 minutes!
