New venture – Geoff Perry Photography
An Insight into Landscape Photography
Long summer days are here again even though the temperatures don’t match the season!
Time for landscapers to look for drama in the countryside under those huge changeable skies.
Over the next 4 months I will be dedicating time to examining the detail in our surroundings with the view to launching a new feel to my landscape work.
Recently I have had the pleasure of working with a number of budding landscape photographers wishing to hone their skills. I have enjoyed sharing those thoughts of solitude and awareness with like-minded people. Landscape photography is not just about seeing, it is also dependent on feeling and engaging with the surroundings ignore these and the image will not succeed. If you wish to capture the complete picture then I would like to share my experiences with you.
This important element of landscape photography can only be effectively conveyed on either a one to one, or, one to two basis. With this in mind I would enjoy offering a shared landscape experience to interested photographers.

One-day courses can be arranged in most locations in our region, I am familiar with many.
From the Yorkshire Dales, the coastlines of North Yorkshire, Durham and Northumberland up to the Scottish Borders.
More recently I have photographed areas of the Lake District including: Ullswater; Coniston; Buttermere and Wast Water regions.
