Introduction To D-SLR Photography - £35
(What makes this course different is that it is delivered by qualified teaching staff in a modern classroom with
computers available for editing)
Do you have a fabulous DSLR Camera but are stuck on AUTO MODE??
Would you like to take creative control of your camera?
I have designed a purpose built course to take you on the first leg of the journey to help you to understand your D-SLR.
The one day workshop is practically based and supported with some theory but nothing too heavy! Join me at Hummersknott Academy in Darlington for a classroom introduction followed by a practical outdoor session. To end the day we will look at how your images can be edited using the basic tools in photoshop. Start time - 10am - finish 3pm
During the day you will learn....
Semi automatic functions
Processing using basic functions in Adobe Photoshop
And so much more!

Workshops are small and friendly and tailored towards your needs.
During the day the majority of the time will be spent outdoors working with cameras. Some time will be spent indoors learning camera functions and processing images in Photoshop.
Once you have completed this essential first step we can offer you further courses to reinforce what you have learned and then take you to the next level. We will discuss this with you at the end of the day.
"I really enjoyed the introductory DSLR course yesterday - thanks so much for your help and patience. I came away thinking much more about composition and am looking for a copy of Photoshop so I can keep practising. All the best, Chris."
"Learnt a lot on the Introduction to Digital SLR cameras, no longer using the automatic mode! Will definitely attend another course soon. Thanks Geoff!"
"This course did exactly what it said on the tin! I feel that now knowing the basic functions and principle of my camera I can now start to make my own in camera decisions and make real progress in my photography. Throughout the day we were given more than enough information about everything from shutter speed and aperture to leading lines and the rule of thirds. This made the course very intense, however after a couple of days and a few hours of practice, everything really started to sink in. Overall the course was fun, relaxed and Geoff left no questions unanswered!"
